Here in the Philippines we also follow the pedestrian lane , we cross the lane if the sign of the spot light is green the vehicles will stop if it is red people will stop the vehicles will go, if no spot light we raised our hands too to let the driver stop and let people cross the lane, this is how to discipline our selves to avoid accidents.

А то что там скорая, пожарная, просто машина с отказавшими тормозами, менты или тот кто от них сваливает пьяный детишкам по барабану.
